February 27, 2025
February brought two birthdays—mine and Eden’s—and it made me think deeply about how quickly life changes and how faithfully God walks with us through every season.
My Birthday Reflections
This year, I didn’t make a big deal out of my birthday. I didn’t plan a fancy dinner or an extravagant outing. I just wanted peace.
What I felt most this year was gratitude. Gratitude for:
my family
my health
the courage to build what God placed on my heart
the lessons learned through trials
the blessings I didn’t even pray for
I’m stepping into this year with a deeper sense of purpose—aware that God wastes nothing and uses everything.
Watching Eden Turn 2
Seeing a child grow makes you recognize how quickly time passes. It also makes you more aware of God’s covering over your home.
I look at my kids and see evidence of God’s faithfulness. Evidence that He strengthens me even when I feel stretched thin. Evidence that He is guiding me as a mother even when I don’t always know what I’m doing.
What God Showed Me in February
He reminded me of three things:
Your pace is not too slow. Sometimes God hides us before He reveals us.
Your family is your first ministry. Everything else flows from there.
Your purpose is being built one decision at a time. Nothing is wasted.
February was a month of gratitude and grounding—a reminder that God is in the details of my life, my motherhood, and my business.
