Navigating Grief While Traveling: Lessons From Our Family Trip

May 15, 2025

While in California, we experienced the loss of Andy’s grandma. It was a gentle but powerful reminder that life and death often intermingle in our daily rhythm.

Traveling while grieving taught me:

  • Small rituals (prayers, quiet moments, storytelling) anchor children

  • Presence matters more than perfection

Faith became the glue this month, holding our hearts together as we celebrated her life and honored her legacy.
